Joe started making wood surfboards as a hobby while growing up in Hawaii. Over the years he perfected his craftsmanship and decided to make his hobby full time. Ten years ago, Hawaiijoes was started as a full-time business and has caught the attention of many surf enthusiasts. Today, we are proud to say these boards are hanging around the world and gaining more exposure. Hawaiijoes was featured on the cover of Coastal Living in 2021 and in a photo shoot for People Magazine.
Joe's vision is to provide wood surfboard art for customers to use in the office, home, business, restaurant, etc... without breaking the bank!!
Boards and tables are made for home decor...
not surfing!! They are made from solid Radiata Pine laminate wood.
It is all one piece of wood, stained and striped to look like laminated wood. They are then sprayed with floor grade water-based polyurethane to create a very smooth finish. These boards are fully water and UV resistant for all outdoor purposes. The back is painted solid black and signed by artist
